Raewyn Walsh: Statement
Raewyn Walsh’s works hum with an ever-present dialogue between humans and nature, reflecting her interest in how we alter the meaning and circulation of physical things.  The starting point for many of her pieces are organic materials picked up during her walks and from the ecosystems that surround her.  She places her work at the point where nature and culture intercept, hoping to tread lightly while surrendering to the human condition.

Raewyn’s work has been shown nationally and internationally, and is part of the collections at Te Papa Tongarewa Museum of New Zealand and the Dowse Art Museum.
